SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Social Responsibility

  • Conflict Minerals Policy:
  • We are committed to working with our suppliers to build a conflict-free supply chain, ensuring that every mineral purchase respects both the environment and workers’ rights.
  • Tungsten, tin, tantalum, gold, and other minerals originating from conflict-affected or high-risk areas—whether obtained through illicit trade, controlled by non-state armed groups, or under the control of illegal military factions—are classified as conflict minerals.
  • The joint framework requires suppliers to comply with the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct, procure materials only from environmentally and socially responsible suppliers, and refrain from sourcing minerals from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and its neighboring countries. Suppliers must source from smelters and refiners listed on the Responsible Minerals Initiative’s (RMI) Responsible Minerals Assurance Process (RMAP) certification roster.
  • Smelters and refiners that have not obtained RMAP certification or fail to meet customer requirements must be removed from the supply chain and commit to conducting due diligence in accordance with OECD guidelines.
